Our 2-3 Year Travel Vision
We have a 2-3 year plan to have a look around Australia, living full-time in our caravan, capturing precious moments and memories.
We're not racing from destination to destination. We will tag along and engage in activities that bring our purpose to life.
Don't worry. We've got plans to come back to Perth, now and then.
It may take a week to drive back, maybe longer. It really depends on where we are and why we are coming back.
We can always fly back in a few hours if we don't want the long drive. It's just about being flexible.
Why We Started This Journey
Like many Australians approaching retirement age, we began asking bigger questions:
What matters most?
What about legacy? Legacy isn't something you leave behind, but what you set into motion.
How can we make the most of this season of life?
How do we stay connected to people while exploring Australia?
Instead of settling into a traditional retirement mindset, we have chosen a different path.
We believe our new path has purpose, adventure, and opportunities to make a difference.
We look forward to meeting incredible people, discovering hidden places, learning from fellow travellers, and much more!

Our Current Setup
We're currently travelling with our trusty 2011 Ford Ranger Wildtrak and Opus OP4 TLX camper trailer, building experience and creating memories as we prepare for future adventures.
We have completed "shakedown trips" to help us gain experience and traction:
Our long-term vision includes upgrading to a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series and a touring caravan to support extended travel around Australia.
We want to:
Explore regional Australia and enjoy the landscape and historical stories.
Support local communities as best we can.
Stay at caravan parks, Hipcamps, farm stays and free camps.
Meet fellow travellers and business owners.
Learn from people with unique stories.
Capture memories through video, photography and writing.
Share practical travel tips and honest reviews.
We believe some of the best experiences happen around campfires, over a cup of coffee, or through conversations with strangers who become lifelong friends.
We love our sports teams. If we are close to any of these major venues (Townsville, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide), we will do our best to go watch our favourite sports teams. Netball, NRL, AFL and Rugby Union Teams.
We will definitely be watching them on TV, though.
