Keep Things Simple
To make our big lap trip work, we are going to keep things simple, and go from there.

We've been married for 37 years, so we know one another really well. We completely agree on what matters. We look forward to exploring the Great Outback and are very interested in learning about the history of the places we visit.
When we explore the Coastal Regions, we relish the thought of adventure, and our historical curiosity will inspire us to make the most of our time we choose to make.
In our new season, doing the big lap trip, it just makes sense that we "Keep Things Simple!"
As long as we have food, clothing, and shelter, we will be happy campers (pun intended)

We obviously need a bed, a table to eat from, somewhere to store our food and a way to cook it. Experienced YouTube Influencers tell us we need water, power, and somewhere to store our clothes. Communication is important, they say, so we will make sure we have the means. Showers will be a great way to keep clean and fresh. We will need a toilet, as well.
See!!! Nice and simple.
We are going to need a tow vehicle that won't cost us an arm or a leg. We need somewhere to sleep, so we're going to keep our kidneys and make sure our bed is comfortable.
These incredible rigs are great, but a tad more than what we need.

Wow! This is an excellent setup with the boat and all that good stuff. I love the dual-axle caravan, the canopy at the back of the truck and who knows what their cargo is. Brilliant set-up for a whole family.
It will definitely be an overkill for just Rowena and me. Be great if we actually get to meet them personally. We have seen a family with a similar set-up in WA; their kids were home-schooled.
What an incredible lifestyle!!

Wow! American Trucks seem to be popular across Australia. I would if I could, because who doesn't love something that's so big and has lots of grunt? There's plenty of room for a boat and for towing a dual-axle caravan with lots of goodies to make life great.
I am not a fan of boats. (I think they are called tinny's)
I am a fish off the jetty, or somewhere someone can help me, kinda guy.

Now, a single-axle caravan towed by a Land Cruiser. That's a simple setup. This setup definitely carries water and has an electrical system.
We will make sure it has both an internal and external kitchen, an internal and external fridge, Starlink Mini, and anti-flap kits.
We will have a separate cassette toilet and shower, water tanks, grey water tank, diesel heater, TV, gas bottles, jerry cans, dust reduction system, a generator, a gazebo, fire pit, max tracks, recovery gear, MORRflate compressor and fishing gear.
Definitely a Land Cruiser with a GVM upgrade, UHF, EPIRB, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and various tools and accessories.
